CMA has produced the focal plane structure for the Panoramic Survey Telescope and Rapid Response System (PanSTARRS) telescope in Hawaii , for The Institute for Astronomy (IFA) at the University of Hawaii . The focal plane structure will support 64 CCD (OTA) elements for the World's largest CCD camera, 1.4 Gpixels! The structure was measured and final coated at CMA in March and is now being populated with the OTAs. The camera is expected on the sky in summer 2007.
